Financial Life Planning

Financial Life Planning

I envision a world where 1) money doesn't stress people out, 2) people are able to have productive conversations about money, and 3) people use their money as a tool to support their important values.

People come to Money Health Solutions when they want to level up. They are highly-motivated and want to find meaning in their life. I facilitate happiness and meaning by helping you discover what you want out of life and design a system that helps you use your money in a way that supports what's important to you. I help you create new habits, behaviors, and systems that help you live a financially healthy life without having to rely on your limited willpower.

In other words, I help you design a life that helps you find purpose and live intentionally.

If you're here, then one of these may describe you.

  • You and your partner aren't on the same page when it comes to where you want to be.

  • You make good money and are saving, but don't know what's next.

  • You mindlessly spend money without a plan and feel bad about it.

  • Enough is enough; now's the time to find meaning and do something differently.

There's Something In Your Way

If you're like most people, you've got something in between you and where you want to be. Maybe you've identified what it is but can't get past it on your own. Perhaps you don't even know what's in your way. Financial therapy helps you get unstuck and get you on your way to where you want to be.

Money and Life Are Closely Related

Money and life are intricately intertwined. There are few financial decisions that don't impact your life somehow, and few life decisions that don't have a monetary component. Get clear about who you are and where you want to go, using your money to support your life.

Align Your Money With Your Values

If you aren't clear about what your values are, that is, what's important to you, you are vulnerable to use your money and live your life in ways that support others' values. Get clear about what's important to you and what you want out of life, and use your money to support that.

Focus On Things That Matter That You Can Control

It's easy to get distracted, especially by the news...especially the financial news. It's important to ground yourself. If something matters, but you can't control it, you can't change it. If something is in your control but doesn't matter, let it go. Only focus on the sweet spot.

What Kind of Life Do You Want?

It's up to you to design your life. Most people don't do this. Many people float around from circumstance to circumstance, letting life happen to them. Design a life that is important to you; a life you will be proud to look back upon.

Life is Short: Don't Take it For Granted

Life is finite. You only get a few dozen trips around the sun. It's important to make the most of the time that you have by using your money in a way that lets you enjoy all that life has to offer.

Live Life on Purpose

Most people live their life reacting. They let life happen to them. Learn how to choose the life you want and live on purpose.

Be More Aware of Your Finances

Money mindfulness is bringing our awareness back into our financial lives. There has been a lot of work done to strip financial awareness away from us. Living intentionally requires us to be aware of money's role in our lives.
